There has been so much going on lately that somehow letting everyone know about it slipped through the cracks!
After the non-stop bustle of the release for Damaged, a very unexpected issue popped up. Amazon has decided to recategorize my books as Erotica. Now, I don’t believe this series is at all erotic in the way they’re claiming, but Amazon has a mind of its own and there’s very little an author can do about it. Mainly, we can request they review their decision and make a different one. So I have been running around like a dog chasing its tail with them over categories and putting me in the correct ones. If you’ve noticed that both Broken and Damaged have disappeared from your Amazon search results, then you’ve seen that I’ve yet to be successful.
Want to help me out? Tell people about my books! Really, it is that simple. Independent authors rely on word of mouth advertisement, and that comes in the form of reader recommendations and reviews. So if you can, leave a review or tell a friend (or three!) about the books you’ve loved. In addition to Amazon, you can find me on Goodreads and BookBub. Oh, in case you didn’t know, if you follow me on BookBub, you’ll also be notified of my new releases and preorders as well as any books I recommend.
In addition to that, I then managed to acquire an epic case of the Plague! A couple of weeks of being unable to breathe and your body trying to forcibly eject your lungs is no bueno, let me tell you. I am finally on the mend, though, and am planning on getting back to writing as soon as possible!
While I am trying to take it easy, I do hope to have a Flash Fiction up here soon! I’ve missed writing these quickies and they’re great for getting the creative engines going.
Hope you all are well, and remember: Only you can prevent the spread of the Plague!
